Engagement

What we do, and why we do it this way.

Where we start

The problem this solves

Most businesses that feel stuck aren't actually broken. They're built around one person instead of around a system. Everything works because you personally hold it up, every day, every decision, every detail. That's not a failure. It's the first version of every business that has ever existed.

The problem shows up the moment you try to grow. Growth adds more clients. More clients add more work. More work adds more weight. And more weight lands on the only part of the structure built to hold it: you.

Most businesses we work with are somewhere on this line:

  • Just starting out. Remove yourself for a week and most of the business stops with you.
  • Grown past yourself. You tried to hand work off before. It didn't stick, because there was nothing written down to hand off against.
  • Hit the ceiling. Business is steady, but growing from here means adding more of yourself. The ceiling isn't personal. It's structural.

This engagement exists to fix the structure, not to make you better at doing everything yourself.

Phase 01 · Diagnose

See it clearly

Before anything gets built, we map exactly how the business runs today: where your time goes, what's working, what's quietly costing you. That includes a full competitive landscape (named competitors, their pricing, their gaps) and a buyer profile (who actually buys, and why). That's the kind of research that takes weeks to do properly, and it almost never gets finished by an owner who's also running the business day to day.

Why first: advice given before anyone understands how the business actually runs is a guess wearing a suit. No understanding means no real diagnosis. No real diagnosis means a guess. And a guess is not a foundation to build anything on.

Phase 02 · Construct

Build the system

We build the actual infrastructure, starting with your website (built new, or rebuilt to match everything else, if you've already got one) and a written standard for every role in the business: one document per position, spelling out exactly how the work gets done. That's the piece most owners start and never finish, because it takes months of uninterrupted focus most businesses can't spare.

Why second: knowledge that only lives in your head can't be delegated, scaled, or handed to anyone. This turns your judgment into a documented standard. A foundation needs a written standard. A written standard makes work repeatable. And what's repeatable can finally be handed off.

Brand Kit, Brand Guide, Framework Guide, Website Content Plan, Website, Social Media Setup, Social Media Content Plan, Engagement Plan, plus your Org Chart, Position Contracts, and Written Standards
Phase 03 · Operate

Hand it off, then prove it holds

With the system in place, you hand off the work it now covers, using a step-by-step guide for training whoever you bring in and a checklist that catches mistakes before they ever reach a client, both built around your actual standards, not something generic. But the handoff isn't the finish line: we watch how it performs, measure it against what it's supposed to produce, and refine it, tightening the standard and adjusting what isn't working, until it holds without you checking in on it.

Why last, and why it matters most: delegation without a written standard isn't delegation. It's a coin flip. Testing and refining the handoff until it actually holds is what makes it permanent instead of temporary. What can be handed off can be tested. What's tested can be trusted. And what's trusted is what finally runs without you standing over it.

The outcome

What changes

Knowledge
Lives in your head. If you're out, the business pauses.
Becomes
Documented and transferable. Owned by the business, not one person.
Delivery
Requires you in every room. Handoffs fail with no standard to follow.
Becomes
Runs against a written standard. You verify quality. You don't perform every step.
Growth
Every new client adds weight to you personally.
Becomes
Infrastructure absorbs the growth. New clients don't mean proportionally more of you.
Your time
Spread across everything, depleted daily.
Becomes
Concentrated on what actually needs you: relationships, decisions, standards.

This isn't a prediction. It's what the engagement is built to produce.

Staying on track

Timeline and check-ins

This isn't a wait-for-the-call relationship. Support runs asynchronously throughout, and you can reach Bryan anytime, by email or directly through your client portal, no need to wait for a scheduled check-in. On top of that, the engagement moves on three overlapping rhythms: what you see every week, what you hear every month, and what we sit down and talk through every quarter.

Weekly
Your dashboard stays current in real time: what's been delivered, what's moving, what's next. No call needed, just visibility.
Monthly
A short written focus update lands on your dashboard: what this month is aimed at, and what's already in motion toward it.
Every 3 months
A real check-in with Bryan. What's working, what needs to change, confirmed before the next quarter starts. Each one ends with a written recap, and if something can't wait, you can always ask for time sooner.
Month 3
Findings reviewed, scope confirmed
Month 6
Build progress measured
Month 9
Hand-off readiness checked
Month 12
Full engagement reviewed

Three rhythms, one throughline: you're never wondering where things stand.

Looking ahead

After month 12

Everything built is yours permanently, regardless of what you decide next.

Extend
Continue the relationship: ongoing oversight and continued refinement as the business grows.
Step away
Close out the engagement. Keep every system and document, no further payment required.
Investment
$759/mo
One engagement, one price, billed monthly for the 12 months.
Next steps
1
Schedule a 1-on-1. A short call to confirm scope and answer questions before anything is signed.
2
Sign the agreement. Straightforward, no surprises. Once it's signed, we're locked in together.
3
Set up your dashboard. Your private portal goes live, this is where everything above gets tracked.
4
The work starts. Diagnose begins.

"Own the business. Don't be owned by it."
